Abstract

There was a time, not long ago, when effective EMC practices were shared in the lab, the lecture hall, or the factory floor. The artisans who tested and solved problems accomplished what they did by working and talking alongside colleagues. Established fields of practice have their own folklore and vocabulary, and EMC is no exception. Careers in EMC are built on a technical foundation layered with experience, and much of that comes from common problem-solving.
