Abstract

Abstract Based on the relevance topic model and density clustering, this paper constructs a college sports health theme model. The framework of physical education discipline literacy was created by combining the standard of discipline core literacy with the framework. The core of the physical education and health curriculum was judged by calculating the maximum likelihood function of the core literacy in the curriculum and the multiple embodiment variables in the curriculum. Combining the variational EM algorithm to calculate the edge likelihood function of the data, the hidden variables in the core literacy of physical education and health courses were identified and solved. This paper focuses on the analysis of students’ athletic ability, healthy behavior and physical morality in physical education course teaching and explores the core literacy of physical education from two aspects: teaching objectives and teaching evaluation. The results showed that the classification accuracy of the topic model for exercise ability, health behavior and sports morality in college physical education and health courses was 0.927, 0.831 and 0.857, respectively. According to the statistics of students’ weekly physical exercise, 467 students met the evaluation criteria of the physical education population, accounting for 49.5% of the total number of students, indicating that most of the students in colleges and universities had good physical exercise habits. The teaching efficiency of physical education and health courses in colleges and universities was improved to some extent by this study.
