Embodiment and risk: Another string to Eberhard Wenzel's bow

Abstract

The author presented the Eberhard Wenzel Oration at the 19th National Conference, Australian Health Promotion Association, Melbourne, June 2010. The main focus of the discussion was the concept of embodiment, which was the focus of many of the author's discussions with Wenzel and has particular relevance to how the concepts of risk, the 'footprint' and quality of life are used in the 21st Century.
