Abstract

This paper develops and implements an embedded system for the command of a high-gain antenna pedestal. It is based on the use of GPS parameters transmitted by an aerospace vehicle via an RF link. These directional antennas allow to optimize the reception of high frequency radio link, increasing the scope and reducing the weight requirements of the onboard batteries. Equations are implemented by the system to transform GPS coordinates in pedestal commands.
