Abstract

The safety locking mechanism is intended to protect passengers and footbirds from collisions during the door opening. The regulation of the automotive door locking by means of a long-distance measurement device, child lock, and ultrasound sensors is designed to avoid accidents caused by passenger carelessness. This means that passengers can’t open the door of their vehicle from inside as the object moves to the car. With the assistance of specialized microcontrollers, the whole device is managed. In this device, the ultrasonic sensor in the car rear view mirror is mounted on both sides with distance measurement. This sensor sends and receives a signal close to the outside of the door of the vehicle. This makes the signal reflected and received by the recipient as some item enters the vehicle. The microcontroller sends signal to the child lock due to the quick signal return, which is enabled according to the microcontroller programming. This prevents passengers from opening their car from inside, so it will avoid abrupt opening. But from outside, we can unlock the car. If you are moving the object/person, you will have a long way to transmit the signal and the reception time will increase, so the controller will transfer the signal to the lock.
