Abstract
621.396.969.11 An interval method of radar signal detection and selection based on non-energetic polarization parameter – the ellipticity angle – is suggested. The examined method is optimal by the Neumann–Pearson criterion. The probability of correct detection for a preset probability of false alarm is calculated for different signal/noise ratios. Recommendations for optimization of the given method are provided.
