Abstract
Balearic elites: epigraphy and social-geographic mobility during the 2nd Century A.D. This work analyses several cases of social-geographical mobility as witnessed by the epigraphic documentation of the Balearic Islands and Tarraco during the 2nd Century A. D. In a first step, the mobility takes place in the Islands local civil elite, then progresses, for the most outstanding members of the group, into the provincial elite.
