Abstract

Abstract Postflowering rototaling, with or without potassium azide (KN3) applications, prevented emergence of volunteer plants of Dutch iris (Iris Lollandica Hoog cultivar Wedgwood) in the fall and following spring. Soil-incorporated preplan ting treatments with karbutilate (tert-butylcaibamic acid ester with 3-(m-hydroxyphenyl)-l,l-dimethyl urea) or potassium azide also prevented emergence of this cultivar.
