Abstract
The paper presents a new numerical method of the computation of stresses and displacements at internal points using boundary elements. The accuracy of the computation is reasonable even if the internal point is very close to the boundary. The numerical algorithm is developed for both the two- and three-dimensional problems. The accuracy of the numerical computations based on the proposed method is illustrated in a test problem of 2-D elastostatics.
