Abstract

Leukemia stem cells (LSCs) are resistant to current therapies used to treat chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Abraham etal. (2016) have identified a molecular network critical for CML LSC survival and propose that simultaneously targeting two of their major transcriptional regulators, p53 and c-Myc, may facilitate their eradication.
