Abstract
• WHO END TB STRATEGY aims to eliminate TB epidemic by 2035. • NTEP under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India aims at eliminating Tuberculosis in India by 2025. • NTEP has been efficient in improving laboratory facilities and recruiting health care workers for TB care in India. • This is a case report which highlights the significance of Patient Turnaround Time (P-TAT) in TB care and the need for close monitoring of P-TAT. • COVID-19 pandemic has a detrimental effect on the TB elimination programme.
