Abstract

The DOS‐tips column in the September 1985 issue of OCLC Micro addressed some common uses of the DIRectory command in DOS. While training OCLC staff members on the IBM PC, I have found some other handy variations of DIR, including some of the piping and redirection variations. This article lists 19 DIR command variations that I think are probably all the ones you are most likely to use.
