Abstract

The obvious theme of the proposed paper is to elevate the efficiency of the solar power conversion by implementing Glass to Glass Solar PVT System with inherent cooling. In this proposed system, a novel solar PVT panel is designed by replacing tedlar layer with a glass layer for better heat transfer property. In addition, a thermal system is adhered beneath the solar PV panel. The solar irradiation provokes 30– 80°C heat over the solar panel and this temperature mostly affects the electrical efficiency and performance of the solar panel. This dissipated heat is transferred to the water in the thermal system aligned under the PV panel and then heat absorbed water is stored in a tank, so that the temperature of the solar panel has been reduced and the performance gets improved. The experimental setup is to be done for analysis and the output power of the Glass to Glass solar PVT panel is to be monitored on real time using LabVIEW software and compared with G-T conventional solar PV panel. The expected output may results, in addition to the electrical energy, thermal energy is also to be utilized in a single solar PVT system.
