Abstract

The second sentence of the second paragraph on p. 463 (beginning at line 10) should read: ‘It seems unlikely that the enlarged dCTP pool in MGK-dp depressed cellular responses to the alkylating agents simply by acting as a target for EMS and MNNG (Topal and Baker, 1982), so that effectively less mutagen attacked the DNA.’
