Abstract

Most of the world's states have adopted general, sometimes special, rules for the protection of the most precious elements of human society, such as the life and health of the person. One of the illegalities that directly threaten a person's life and health is the crime of mercenary activity. This crime is criminalized in most states of the world. Thus, in the continuity of the scientific approach, we aim to analyze some norms of comparative criminal law regarding the crime of mercenary activity, an illegal act that directly threatens the life and health of the person.
