Abstract

Many elementary grammars state rules with insufficient clarity and fullness. The uninformed student should find the simpler grammatical questions which are likely to arise in his mind suitably answered in his textbook. Those rules which to many students seem to contradict each other may well be stated together in the later lessons, with explanations of apparent inconsistencies
