Abstract
窒素の元素分析法として筆者の一人大橋は,強リン酸とヨウ素酸カリを使用する方法(以下強リン酸-ヨウ素酸カリ法と呼ぶ)を新しく提案してきた.この方法は従来のデュマ法,ケルダール法に比して熟練を要せず短時間に結果が得られ,かつ精度もよいものと思われるが,多くの場合ピリジン環の窒素は全く分析できなかった.その理由を明らかにしその解決の糸口を見出すために質量分析計を用いて発生ガスの分析研究を行った.また通常の窒素化合物の場合でもアゾトメーター中に捕集されているガスは果して窒素であるか亜酸化窒素であるかも疑わしいのでこの際同時にこの点も研究することにし,さらに比較のためにデュマ法の場合についても実験を行った.その結果につき以下報告する.
