Abstract

The SLD detector collects data at the Z 0 resonance using e + e − colliding beams of SLC. Polarized electron beams and small SLC interaction region together with the unique CCD vertex detector provide an outstanding opportunity for precision electroweak test of the standard model, especially in the heavy quark sector. Improved measurements of heavy quark electroweak parameters, including A b , A c , R b , and R c are presented. Measurements are based on approximately 400k hadronic Z 0 events, including data from the most recent 1997–98 SLC run.
