Abstract
Abstract Being able to harvest energy from many kinds of motions, such as touching, tapping, bending, etc., novel energy harvester (NEH) has gained a lot of interests nowadays. In this work, NEHs were fabricated with 0.5Ba(Zr 0.2 Ti 0.8 )O 3 −0.5(Ba 0.7 Ca 0.3 )TiO 3 nanowires (BCTZ NWs), both aligned (A-BCTZ NWs) and random (R-BCTZ NWs). The BCTZ NWs were prepared by electrospinning. XRD pattern revealed BCTZ NWs’ pure perovskite structure. Excellent electric properties with output open-circuit voltage of 3 V and short-circuit current of 50 nA were obtained for A-BCTZ NWs based NEH. EDS, Raman and FESEM were also used to characterize the morphology and structure of BCTZ NWs.
