Abstract

Polypyrrole(PPy) nanowires modified electrodes were developed by template-free electrochemical method based on graphite electrode. The Ag/PPy nanowires composited modofied electrodes were prepared by method of electrochemical deposition Ag with the condition of constant current density. The electrocatalytic reduction of nitrite based on Ag/PPy nanowires composited modified electrodes was developed. The effect of solution pH, electrolytic potentials and electrolytic current density on electrolysis of nitrite and the electrolysis products were also examined. Through the above experiment, the suitable conditions of electrocatalytic reduction nitrite on the Ag/PPy composited nanowires modified grapite electrodes can be established. And the Ag/PPy composited nanowires modified grapite electrodes should have promising application in environmental remediation.
