Abstract

Based on the analysis of the data available in the literature on laboratory measurements of the dielectric characteristics of the lunar soil samples delivered to the Earth during the Luna and Apollo missions, an electrophysical model of the upper soil layer of the Moon has been developed. The model takes into account the temperature conditions in the measurement area, temperature changes and the distribution of soil density in the upper regolith layer. The model is intended for numerical simulation of experiments aimed at studying the properties of the lunar soil using electromagnetic waves.
