Abstract

Abstract Electronic transport measurements and structural investigations were performed on the electronically correlated metal CuV2S4, which displays phase transitions at T=55 and 90 K . Apparently, a small degree of disorder in the material suppresses the phase transitions and has a distinct effect on the temperature dependent Hall constant. Pressure dependent electrical resistivity measurements were performed to study the evolution of the phase transitions as a function of pressure.
