Abstract

A new approach to the analysis of positron annihilation angular correlation data based on the definition of the LCW folded k-space density in terms of real-space matrix elements and an orbital angular momentum l-based wavefunction expansion is presented and discussed. The computational convenience and interpretation utility of this approach is illustrated with an example calculation for niobium.
