Using energy- and femtosecond time-resolved Time-resolved spectroscopy two-photon photoemission spectroscopy and second harmonic generation Second harmonic generation to investigate interfaces with oligo- and polythiophenes provides important parameters such as energetic positions of transport levels Transport level , lifetimes of excitonic states Excitonic state , and charge-transfer times across donor–acceptor interfaces. They are essential for designing organic material–based optoelectronic devices.
