Abstract

Essential electronic properties of Graphite Intercalation Compounds are reviewed, with emphasis on the different behavior of Donor (3D anisotropic metals) and Acceptor (2D metals) compounds. The 2D model of Graphite Independent Subsystems provides a coherent interpretation of experimental data in Acceptor Compounds.
