Abstract

This modest action research study describes how electronic portfolios EP can be used with secondary and university students for both learning and assessment purposes, particularly as this time of Covid-19 and beyond. It combines theory and practice. The theoretical framework of the topic is going to be discussed. It defines the EP and then provides a rationale for their implementations. It also outlines what should be included in an EP and how it should be organized. It reports the results of a small action research study. Participants will receive some practical tips on how to implement EP. Some students EP will be shown. In addition, the researcher then provides guidelines on how teachers can design their own professional teaching portfolios that showcases their skills and competencies.
