Abstract

The legal status of artificial intelligence (AI) is uncertain and it may be possible to categorize AI as goods, products or digital services. Following the rapid developments in technology, it is being discussed whether AI systems can be granted legal personality. This article aims to examine the concept of legal personality and critically analyse whether legal personality should be granted to AI systems.
