Abstract

In this paper the content of and the experiences associated with the oldest electronic packaging education program in the U.S. will be discussed. This program, which started with the first electronic packaging class taught at the University of Arizona in 1983, has generated a wealth of data and experience in this field. It is the purpose of the paper to communicate what works and what has been found not to work in electronic packaging education at the University of Arizona.
