Abstract

electronic learning is an interactive learning system that’s presented to the learner by using communication technologies and IT. It depends on a self-sufficient binary electronic environment، which presents the subjects through electronic networks. It is a learning form based on making use of every aspect of technology to covey information at the shortest time، using the least effort, and at the greatest benefit. The aim of this paper is to research the use of electronic learning in the Computer Applications course with the first year students of The technical trainees institute for the 2020- 2021 academic year. The results were yielded using the appropriate statistical methods, and a comparison was later performed using the average values for the test group and the control group. The study found differences of a<0،05 statistical values between the two groups. The study also concluded several recommendations, the most significant being the importance of using electronic learning in other courses to improve the students’ results, and to make the switch from traditional learning to electronic learning.
