Abstract

The business today has been affected by the advent of ICT. They revolutionized all sectors of business as well as tourism. The paper aims to present the business models, applied in the Bulgarian hospitality industry. In the literature review is presented the influence on ICT on hospitality industry. Business models are presented and how they can be applied by the hospitality industry. The newest business model C2C is being presented in the case of virtual communities. Content analysis of the most used business model B2C in hospitality has been conducted. Analysis of the virtual communities in Europe is also presented. In the process of research it was found out that the Business-to-customer e-business model is not well-adopted.
