Abstract

The structure of an electronegative plasma sheath in an obliquemagnetic field is investigated with a fluid model. We assume the systemconsists of hot electrons and negative ions as well as cold positiveions. Densities of particles and distributions of the spaciouspotential in various states of magnetic field are studied. The resultshows that the existence of magnetic field and negative ions has greateffects on the plasma sheath structures. In addition, the effects ofnegative ion density and temperature on the structure of theelectronegative plasma sheath are discussed.
