Abstract

AbstractIn this paper, electron-acoustic solitons (EASs) in magnetized multicomponent plasma having fluid of cold electrons, positrons, superthermal electrons, and positive ions are examined. The nonlinear Zakharov-Kuznetsov (ZK) equation is derived by applying the reductive perturbation method (RPM). The effect of various plasma parameters (concentration of electrons, superthermality of hot electrons/positrons and magnetic field strength) on the characteristic properties of EASs is analysed.KeywordsEA solitonsSuperthermal distributionZakharov-Kuznetsov equation
