Abstract
ELLJ — a conversion-electron and beta-ray spectrometer for an on-line isotope separator - is described. The instrument is a broad-range, high-transmission device consisting of a two-coil magnetic transporter plus a cooled Si(Li) detector. The spectrometer was designed to perform several kinds of coincidence measurements. A number of representative spectra of fission-product activities separated on-line at the IGISOL facility demonstrate the performance of the spectrometer.
