Abstract

In order to calculate the widths of electron spin resonance (ESR) lines observed in experiments on metallic spin glasses with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya anisotropy (1958, 1960) an expression is derived for the full dynamical susceptibility starting from a microscopic equation of motion which includes the effects of both precession and relaxation. Using this approach the relaxation constants of the hydrodynamic triad model may be expressed in terms of microscopic quantities.
