Abstract
Cross sections are calculated for elastic and superelastic (including spin-flip) collisions with the first excited state of sodium, for transitions between the first three excited states, and for transitions between the fine-structure states of the 3p and 3d doublets, from reactance matrices calculated in a four state (3s-3p-3d-4s) close coupling approximation.
