Abstract

Momentum densities of annihilating electron-positron pairs, positron lifetimes, work functions and binding energies as well as electron-positron enhancement factors at the surfaces of simple metals and cadmium are studied. The effect of electron-positron correlations on the surface-state positron annihilation characteristics is set out.
