Abstract

The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of Mn2+, VO2+, Cu2+, and x-ray induced centers in Rb2C2O4 ⋅ H2O single crystals are studied at 9.45 GHz and 290 K. The spectra at 77 K show no appreciable change. The ions appear to enter the lattice at interstitial sites. The doublet separations of forbidden hyperfine transitions (Δm=±1) are studied in Mn2+ doped crystals. The x-ray irradiated single crystals exhibit singlet spectrum and show saturation effect. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters are evaluated at 290 K.
