Abstract

Mice and D-avitaminotic rats supplied with 0.026 M sodium fluoride in their drinking water, developed mitochondrial inclusions in the intestinal tract and the liver. In the mice the changes could be observed only during the winter. D-avitaminotic rats treated with vitamin D3 during the fluoride exposure show no such depositions in the intestinal mitochondria.
