Abstract

Abstract X-band EMR measurements of polycrystalline CaMn1−xRuxO3 (x=0÷0.40) samples were done at 120⩽T⩽400 K aiming to study the effect of Ru-induced magnetic ordering. High-temperature EMR spectra of pristine CaMnO3 show a Lorentzian-like line with Δ H pp ∼160 mT and g=1.995±0.005, whose intensity diminishes, zeroing at Neel temperature T N =120 K . EMR evidences that Ru-doping modifies both paramagnetic and antiferromagnetic states, and creates an inhomogeneous phase separated ferro- and antiferromagnetic ground states at x>0.06.
