Abstract

We present an experimental crossed electron-/ molecular beam study of dissociative electron attachment to the molecules trimethyl(methylcyclopentadienyl)-platinum(IV) (MeCpPtMe3) and Palladium(II) hexa-fluoroacetylacetonate (Pd(hfac)2) in the gas phase from close to 0 to 14 eV at room temperature. Further, we present appearance energies of important positive fragments determined by electron impact ionization.
