Abstract

A transversely polarized time-harmonic plane wave normally incident on a stratified bi-isotropic (nonreciprocal chiral) slab is considered. The invariant embedding method is used to derive the differential equations for the scattering coefficient matrices, which are solved using appropriate boundary conditions. With the calculated reflected field as the boundary value, the differential equations for the Green functions are solved numerically. Numerical results are presented.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
