Abstract

In the paper, high resolution range profile (HRRP) of complex target is analyzed based on the echo data using the shooting and bouncing method (SBR) combined with physical theory of diffraction (PTD). The monstatic and bistatic scattering of a reduced-scale vehicle target are calculated by SBR-PTD and compared with the simulation results with MLFMM in commercial software FEKO. The range profile of target can be obtained by using inverse Fourier transforming of echo data. And HRRP characteristic of vehicle target is analyzed for diffraction incident angles.
