Abstract
Using a method of moments approach computer simulations are presented for antenna-to-rough-surface interactions. It is shown how the input impedance of a dipole antenna is affected by radiation coupling phenomena in the backscattered near field from rough surfaces of fractal type. Applications are discussed for purposes of remote sensing.
