Abstract
The ground-state wavefunction of 7Li is evaluated in the framework of the generator coordinate method wherein 7Li is treated as a superposition of alpha and triton clusters. The charge and magnetic form factors of 7Li are calculated, taking both the charge monopole and quadrupole contributions and the magnetic dipole and octupole contributions into account. The charge and magnetic root-mean-square radii, the spectroscopic quadrupole moment and the magnetic dipole and octupole moments are also evaluated. All the calculated quantities agree well with the values determined experimentally.
