Electromagnetic moments of isomers in 144, 146, 147, 148Gd in the deformed independent particle model

Abstract

Recently measured gyromagnetic ratios and quadrupole moments of isomers in 144, 146, 147, 148Gd are well reproduced by the deformed independent particle model, provided that the spherical single particle energies are chosen in accordance with the empirical evidence from single particle stripping and pick-up data.
