Abstract

With the process of urbanization and the expansion of urban area, urban metro has become the main mode of urban transportation. However, in modern cities, electrical networks and mobile communication networks are everywhere, and generate a variety of electromagnetic waves and electrical signals, which constitute a complex electromagnetic environment and cause electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problems in urban metro vehicles. To solve this problem, this paper takes the Shanghai Metro Line 6 as an example to conduct the EMC design for urban metro vehicles in a complex electromagnetic environment, and verifies that the proposed EMC design conforms to the standards in the actual tests. In this design, electromagnetic interference (EMI) sources, coupling path and sensitive equipment are analyzed in detail, and strict design for grounding, shielding, filtering and wiring is proposed to meet the EMC requirements of urban metro vehicles.
