Abstract
Measurements are reported of the ratios of hydrogen to deuterium in gas mixtures of hydrogen isotopes outgassed from palladium electrodes which had been acting in 1:1 H 2SO 4: D 2SO 4 electrolytes, as both cathodes and anodes of hydrogen transfer cells in which the effective overall cell reaction was the transfer of hydrogen (deuterium) from one electrode to the other.
