Abstract

Electrohydrodynamic effects are studied in model liquids at a phase interface using glass screens between electrodes. It is shown that a glass screen does not prevent the occurrence of electrohydrodynamic flows at the interface of flowing media, and this makes it possible to create the construction of electrohydrodynamic devices that might operate in an electric field of considerable voltage.
