Abstract
Questions of applying ultrasound in the electrodialysis of a solution of the alumina boron phosphate concentrate (ABPC) to synthesize a silicon-free binder in the investment casting of chemically active alloys are considered. It is established that the rate and degree of passage of electrodialysis increase in a high-power ultrasonic field. A corresponding mathematical model is developed and a computational procedure of optimal parameters of preparing the activated ABPC binder in investment casting is developed and achieved using a computer. Their use enabled the effective control of a complex physicochemical electrodialysis process in the ultrasonic field. Based on clarified regularities, the technology of fabrication of ceramic corundum molds based on activated ABPC, which increases the quality of important investment casts made of nonferrous metals, is developed.
