Abstract

Co strips, 500 and 900 μm wide, 350 nm thick and 1 cm long, were deposited on indium tin oxide substrate by CO 2 laser microlithography electrodeposition. X-ray analysis showed that the strips crystallized in typical FCC cobalt structure. Magnetic measurements yield H s and M r/ M s of 0.6 T and 0.76, respectively, for both samples at room temperature. It was found that H c depends on both the temperature and strip dimension.
